Comprehension Passage
India is a nation blessed with a rich array of geographical and cultural diversity. This diversity is reflected in the country's farming practices and cropping patterns. The country's agricultural landscape is made up of an extensive variety of food and fiber crops, alongside fruits, vegetables, spices, and condiments. The cultivation cycle in India is divided into three principal cropping seasons: Rabi, Kharif, and Zaid. Rabi crops are planted during the winter months, from October to December, and are harvested in the summer season from April to June.
