Since the launch of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) in 2016, the scheme has covered an increasing number of farmers, making it the largest crop insurance scheme in the world. As per the latest data, the total reported claims under the scheme amount to ₹1,67,475 crore. Out of this, a substantial ₹_____ (98%) has already been disbursed to the farmers, demonstrating the scheme's effectiveness in providing timely financial support.
