Directions: The staff of Razor Tech presently consists of three senior faculty – Alan, Boyd and Carl and five junior faculty – Vox, Walt, Xavier, Yale and Zed. Mr. Mark Wayne, CEO of Razor Tech, is planning to open a new office in another city using two senior faculty and three junior faculty of the present staff. To do so he plans to separate certain individuals who do not function well as a team. The following guidelines were established to set up the new office:

i) Since Zed and Xavier have been competing for promotion, they should not be a team.

ii) Senior faculty Alan and Carl are constantly finding fault with one another and should not be sent to the new office as a team.

iii) Carl and Vox function well alone but not as a team. Hence, they should be separated.

iv) Zed and Xavier have not been on speaking terms for many months. They should not be put together.
