Seven state elections were conducted last year in seven different months. These months are January, February, April, July, August, November, and December. The elections were conducted in seven different states, namely, Delhi, Maharashtra, Goa, Gujrat, Punjab, Bihar, and Kerala, but not necessarily in the same order.

The Goa election was conducted in one of the months that does not have 31 days in it. Four elections were conducted between the Bihar and the Goa election. At least five elections were conducted after the Bihar election. Three elections were conducted between the Punjab and Maharashtra elections. Kerala election was conducted four months after the Maharashtra election. Two elections were conducted between the Delhi and Kerala elections.
