There are two types of Flats in a four floor building, i.e., Flat-I and Flat-II such that Flat-I is to the west of Flat-II. The floor which is at the  bottom, is numbered as 1, the floor above it as 2 and so on. Eight persons, Adam, Ben, Cole, Dax, Eden, Finn, Gia, and Hazel live in these floors. Each of them plays different musical instruments- Piano, Guitar, Sitar, Flute, Cello, Violin, Harp and Drum, however not in this particular order. All the Flats are of the same dimensions.

Ben lives two floors above Adam. Adam plays Flute and lives in Flat-II. Eden, who does not play Cello, lives below Adam. Eden and Adam live in the same type of Flat. The one , who plays Harp, lives on the same floor as the one, who plays Violin. Cole lives two floors above the one, who plays Cello. Gia lives immediately above Hazel in same Flat. Adam and Gia do not live in the same Flat. Cole neither lives adjacent to Hazel nor in the same type of Flat as Hazel. Dax lives below Finn but not just below Finn. Finn plays Drum. Neither Cole nor Gia plays Violin. The one, who plays Sitar, does not live on odd numbered floor. No person in Flat- II plays Guitar. The one, who plays Guitar, lives on the same Flat as the one, who plays Sitar.
