The chips are distributed among a group of people (adults + children) such that each adult got 5 chips while each child got 6 chips and 'n' chips were left in the box. The ratio of the number of adults to that of children is 3 : 1 respectively and the difference between the total number of chips consumed by adults to that by children was 72.
