i) The person must be a graduate with at least 55% marks.

ii) The person must have completed his/her B.Ed.

iii) The person must not be less than 25 years of age and not more than 35 years of age.

iv) The candidate must hold a minimum of 6 months of teaching experience.

In the case of a candidate fulfilling all the conditions except

a) At ii) if the person has not completed B.Ed but has completed his/her Post Graduation, then the candidate is to be selected.

b) At iv) if the candidate holds no teaching experience, but has done any internship or Research work, then the case is to be forwarded to the President.
