Read the paragraph given below and answer the questions

We talk about democracy, but when it comes to any particular thing, we prefer a man belonging to our caste and community. It means our democracy is a phony kind of democracy. We must be in a position to respect a man as a man. We must extend opportunities of development to those who deserve them. Our weakness of our own caste and community should not influence our decision. Caste and community should be out of society for democracy to cherish. Any type of favour in decisions leads to corruption and thereby the roots of democracy will loose its foundation.
