How to obtain the Import license?

For obtaining food import license, the applicant/ prospective Importer requires a valid Import Export Code (IE code) issued by Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT)

A license shall not subject to the provisions of these Regulations

Be issued by the concerned Licensing Authority within a period of 60 days from the date of issue of an application ID number which is generated after successful
