The topmost box is numbered as 8 while the bottommost box is numbered as 1. 7 out of 8 boxes is filled with different colours: Blue, Yellow, Black, Pink, Green, Red and Purple, But not necessarily in the same order. One of the boxes in the arrangement is empty.

Green colour box is immediately above Red colour box. Red colour box is an even number box below box number 5. Three boxes are kept between Red colour box and Yellow colour box. Two boxes are kept between Pink colour box and Purple colour box. Purple is not above all. Blue colour box is immediately below Pink colour box. One of the boxes above box number 5 is empty. Black colour box is an odd number box.
