engineering recuitment GATE CE 2023-24 Test Series Environmental Engineering Water Supply Distribution of Water
A 10 liter water sample consists of organic and inorganic solids. This water sample is heated at a 650° C temperature in a muffle furnace and all organic solids gets converted into vapors. The residue left is poured into a pan whose empty weight is 10 grams and the weight of residue along with pan is measured as 90 grams. Now the same identical sample is heated at 110° C temperature and dry residue left is again poured into same pan and weight is found to be 160 gm. Determine the magnitude of difference (in gm) between non-volatile and volatile solids present in one-liter water sample.
Enter numerical value using the virtual keypad. Round off where necessary.
