Whatsapp can bring the long-awaited Dark Mode feature to its users soon. This facility was being operated for months and now it is expected to be launched at the end of this month or early next year. Dark mode, as the name suggests, turns white background into black, which is more comfortable for the eyes. This mode also helps in increasing battery life on smartphones.

Even Google has acknowledged that dark mode, unlike its white theme-based content design, draws approximately 43% less electricity on its full brightness than its "normal mode". Some popular Google applications such as YouTube and Google Maps already support Dark Mode. This is also a key feature of Google's latest Android repetition, Android pie.
