A holistic and purposive assessment is vital to track children’s progress by using different techniques to help the Teachers to:

I. identify the child’s strengths, needs, interests, and preferences. 
II. potentiate child’s performance and scaffold it through interventions.

III. give them ranks as per their grades in the class.

IV. contribute to early identification of learning gaps and learning difficulties.
