A researcher wanted to predict academic achievement using Intelligence Test-A (IT-A), Intelligence Test-B (IT-B), type of school (rural/urban), and interpersonal skills as predictors. He used multiple regression analysis. He collected data on 200 students on all variables. OLS estimator was also used. F=8.9, P<.01 for the overall model. IT-B was not a significant predictor in the multiple regression analysis. The fit test indicated equivariance.
