1) If a word starts with a vowel followed by a word that starts with a Vowel then the place value of all those vowels present in both words will be added.

2) If a word starts with a consonant followed by a word that starts with a vowel then the place value of all those vowels present in both words will be multiplied.

3) If a word starts with a consonant followed by a word that starts with a consonant then the place value of the first letter of both words will be multiplied.

4) If a word starts with a vowel followed by a word that starts with a consonant then the place value of all those consonants will be added.
