Comprehension Passage
Directions: Answer the questions based on the information given below.
The pie chart given below shows the percent distribution of time taken (minutes) by five different inlet pipes to fill a tank completely and the sum of the pie chart is 4 hours 10 minutes.
The table given below shows the ratio of time taken by inlet pipes to the time taken by outlet pipes.
| Inlet : Outlet | The ratio of time taken by inlet pipes to the time taken by outlet pipes |
|---|---|
| A : P | 3 : 8 |
| B : Q | 3 : 8 |
| C : R | 1 : 2 |
| D : S | 5 : 36 |
| E : T | 8 : 15 |
In the question, two quantities I and II are given. You have to solve both the quantities and establish the correct relation between Quantity - I and Quantity - II and choose the correct option accordingly
Quantity I : If pipes B and C together and pipes Q and R together are opened in the pipe alternatively for one minute each, then what is the total time taken to fill that tank?
Quantity II : If pipe Q is opened along with pipe A and B alternatively for 1 minute each starting with pipe A and they work in this manner for ‘x’ minutes. After that, pipe C alone fills the remaining part of the tank in 20 minutes, and then what is the value of ‘x’?
1
Quantity I > Quantity II
2
Quantity I < Quantity II
3
Quantity I = Quantity II
4
Quantity I ≥ Quantity II
5
Quantity I ≤ Quantity II
