Ten persons – Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z – are sitting in two parallel rows of five each such that each person of one row is facing the other person of the other row. Q, R, S, T and U are sitting in the same row called Row 1 facing south while V, W, X, Y and Z are sitting in the other row called Row 2 facing north. Each person likes a different vegetable among – tomato, potato, beans, carrot, onion, lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli and spinach not necessarily in the same order.

T faces the one who sits third to the right of the one who likes cabbage. Z faces the one who likes cauliflower and sit at one of the ends . The one who likes cauliflower sits second to the left of the one who likes onion. Three persons sit between V and the one who likes broccoli. Q faces the one who sits second to the left of the one who likes potato. The one who likes potato sits to the left of the one who likes lettuce. U sits to the right of the one who likes tomato and sits opposite the one who likes carrot. W faces the one who sit third to the left of the one who likes beans. R does not face either X or Y. Y does not like potato.
