The Union Ministry of Home Affairs announced that 10% of vacancies for recruitment in the Central Armed Police Forces or paramilitary forces would be reserved for ex-Agniveers. Following their four-year tenure, 25% of Agniveer recruits from each batch will be offered regular service. Additionally, several state governments on the occasion of ___________________ including Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, announced similar reservations for retired Agniveers in their respective police forces.
