At the first hearing of a suit, the Court, with the aim of elucidating matters in controversy, is required to:

Examine orally only the parties present in person

Examine orally any person, accompanied by a party or the party's pleader, able to answer material questions related to the suit.

Conduct written examinations of all parties.

Exclude any oral examination of parties or their companions.
