Seven persons Pavan, Prithvi, Pramod, Pritham, Prakash, Prashanth and Prabhu are living on seven different floors in an eight-floor building. But not necessarily in the same order. One of the odd number floors in the building is vacant. The lowermost floor is numbered 1 and the topmost floor is numbered 8.

Pramod lives on an even numbered floor above floor two. There are two floors between the floor on which Pramod live and the floor on which Prakash live. Prakash does not live in the top or bottom floor. Prabhu lives just above Prithvi and neither of them are the immediate neighbour of Prakash or Pramod. Prabhu lives immediately below the vacant floor. Prithvi lives on one of the odd numbered floor. There are two floors between the floor on which Prashanth live and the floor on which Pavan live. Prashanth live on one of the floors above Prakash. Pavan does not live immediately above or immediately below the vacant floor. Pritham lives on an even numbered floor.
