Eight persons – S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z are living in four different floors of a building. Ground floor numbered as 1 and top floor is numbered as 4. There are two flats on each floor- flat-1 and flat-2 from west to east such that flat-1 is to the west of flat-2. Flat-1 of second floor is exactly above flat-1 of first floor and exactly below flat-1 of third floor and other flats are placed in the same way. They all are from different cities namely Agra, Ajmer, Bhopal, Bihar, Delhi, Goa, Kota and Ranchi but not necessarily in the same order.

Z who lives on an even numbered floor and even numbered flat is not immediately above Y. There is a gap of two floors between U and the one who is from Ajmer and both lives on the same flat. S lives to the south west of X, who lives on third floor and is from Bihar. T lives to the north east of Y. There is more than one floor gap between V and the person who is from Bhopal, and V lives above the one who is from Bhopal. W lives to the west of the one who is from Goa. W is one of the floor below S. No one lives to the east of the one who is from Kota, T dose not live in Kota. The person from Ranchi lives immediately above the one who is from Agra, and the person from Ranchi dose not live on any of the even numbered floors.
