Directions: Study the following information carefully and answer the questions followed by it.

Eight boxes A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are placed in a stacked manner but not necessarily in the given order. Each box is of different colour among white, black, orange, green, red, violet, purple and pink.

Note: No two boxes which are consecutive in alphabetical series are placed one above one.

The box 1 is placed at the topmost position and the box 8 is at the lowermost position.

Box A is placed at the topmost block. The box which is violet in colour is placed above box D but below the box which is white in colour. Box C is placed just above the white box.  There are two boxes between the black box and box G. Colour of box B is not orange, the green box is not placed at the second block. Colour of box C is black. The white box is placed three places below the pink box which is placed at the topmost block. Box H is placed below box G. Box D is not placed at the fifth block. Colour of box E is purple. Two boxes are placed between the red box and the orange box.
