There are eight persons Ahmed, Sameer, Parvez, Nargis, Nadeem, Shairazi, Usman and Meena live on four different floors among floor 1, floor 2, floor 3, and floor 4. Each floor has two different flats flat 1 and flat 2 from left to right in such a way that flat 1 of the fourth floor is exactly above flat 1 of the third floor and flat 1 of the third floor is exactly above the flat 1 of the second floor and others are situated in the same way.

Sameer lives one floor above on which Parvez lives. Shairazi lives with Parvez who lives two floors below Nargis. Parvez lives on second floor. Nadeem lives in flat 2 of first floor. Usman lives on third floor but not in flat 1. Meena does not live on the fourth floor but lives in flat 1. Parvez lives in even numbered flat. Ahmed and Sameer live in flat 1 but on different floors.
