L, M, N, O and P are students in a school from 5 different classes, V, VI, VII, VIII and IX respectively, they have to be arranged in the increasing order of their ranks achieved in the race and in the descending order of height.

Class VI student is in first position in race and is the tallest among others. The one who finished the race last is just shorter than the tallest one. Class IX student is the shortest one but is not the last one to finish the race. There is no one who finished the race after VII class student. Shortest one among them is the second runner up.
