Each floor has two flats 1 and 2. Flat 1 is west of Flat 2. Flat 1 on the 2nd floor is immediately above flat 1 on the 1st floor and immediately below flat 1 on the 3rd floor similarly, flat 2 on the 2nd floor is immediately above flat 2 on the 1st floor and immediately below flat 2 on the 3rd floor and so on. In each flat, only one apparatus is kept also, a flat may or may not contain any apparatus on it.

Ram placed the Ironing board on an even-numbered floor and the Air cooler is placed on the 2nd floor which is costlier than the Vacuum cleaner. The Ironing board which is costlier than the Vacuum cleaner, is southwest of the Water Cooler which is Costlier than the Vacuum cleaner. The number of items costlier and cheaper than the Water Cooler is the same. The Refrigerator is placed two floors above the Stepladder, and both the refrigerator and stepladder are placed in flat 1. No apparatus is placed on the east of the Stepladder. The Air conditioner is costlier than the Vacuum cleaner, both are placed on the same floor. The sewing machine, which is cheaper than Refrigerator, is northeast of the Stepladder, which is costlier than only the Rocky Chain. The costliest item is not placed in Flat 2 on the 1st Floor. The sewing machine is placed in the northeast of Rocky chain which is not placed on the 2nd floor. The water cooler is costlier than the Ironing board and the Refrigerator is costlier than the Air cooler but cheaper than Air Conditioner.
