Direction- Study the following information carefully to answer the given questions.
A container ship arrived at the port carrying cargo that included two types of containers – one made of metal (Size – 14 cm) and other designated for food (Size – 21 cm). Each container is stacked one above the other with bottommost numbered one, above it is two and so on. On each stack 8 containers are kept with each stack having different number of containers for each type. No two stack will have the same number of containers for same type of cargo. (For e.g. – floor 1 has 3 metal and 5 foods, then no other floor will have 3 metal and 5 food). They all are of different companies viz. Sea box, WK containers, BSL containers, China containers, APPL containers, CXIC containers, Singamas containers, and Maersk containers but not necessarily in same order. The size of each container is fixed i.e. Metal – 14 cm and Food – 21 cm. For calculating individual size – Number of containers * size of container (if metal then *14 and if food *21). Total size – (size of metal + size of food).
The China container is kept at the bottom in stack. Container with six metal boxes is kept three floors above the China container. There are two floors between Sea box and container with two food boxes. Sea boxes have both the containers in even quantity. Two boxes are kept between BSL and Maersk with BSL above. BSL is kept at even position. Singamas is placed one floor below Maersk. Box on second floor has odd number of containers with each type containing more than one and the metal one is heavier. APPL is kept two boxes below Singamas. Sum of metal boxes on second and topmost floor is equal to the maximum boxes a floor can have. Two boxes are placed between food container that contain five boxes and seven boxes. Container of even floor have equal number of boxes of both metal and food. More number of metal boxes are present on third floor. . Food box is present in every stack. WK is below Singamas.
