They all like different fruits viz. apple, banana, kiwi, papaya, orange, grapes, guava and strawberry and eight different colours viz. brown, grey, pink, peach, golden, black, blue and green but not necessarily in the same order. They all belong to the same family and are related to each in some way. Only three married couples are present with three generations. Equal number of male and female members are present.

A lives on third floor and in the oldest member in the family. C is married to her best friend A. The one who likes pink and grapes lives on fifth floor. There is one floor gap between A and C. B is the only brother of S. The one who likes strawberry lives two floor above the one who likes banana and likes golden colour. The one who likes kiwi lives on the smallest prime numbered floor. P lives three floors above C. P is the child of A. A has only one son and one daughter. R’s sister-in-law likes kiwi and lives three floor below D. One floor is between D and guava. Strawberry lives immediately above guava. Q is married to D and is the child of A. Four floors are there between the one who likes green and the one who likes grey with green above the one who likes grey. P is not the mother of the child. One floor is between the one who likes pink and the one who likes peach. Male member lives on sixth floor and likes blue colour. The one who likes grey colour lives on a prime numbered floor. S is the niece of Q. R lives on a prime numbered floor. C does not like a fruit which starts with a vowel. The one who likes apple likes black colour. The one who likes brown colour lives adjacent to the one who likes grey but doesn’t like black.
