Ten persons viz. A, B, C, D, E, P, Q, R, S and T owns ten different pet animals i.e., Dog, Cat, Fish, Turtle, Sheep, Horse, Rabbit, Parrot, Dove and Hamster but not necessarily in the same order. They live in five storey building with bottommost floor is numbered 1 above it is numbered 2 and so on. Each floor consist of two flat as flat X and flat Y. Flat X is in the west of flat Y. Flat X of floor 2 is immediately above Flat X of floor 1 and immediately below Flat X of floor 3 and so on.

A lives two floor above B in flat X. A lives on odd floor. The on who owns a sheep lives on the bottommost floor of flat X. Fish is in south-east of dog who is owned by either A or B or floor adjacent to B. Hamster and rabbit live on same floor. Sheep lives in southwest of rabbit. The one who owns fish lives immediately above sheep but not in the same flat. B lives on a prime numbered floor. One person live between dog and dove and both of them live in same flat. C lives three floors above fish. Turtle lives three floor above or below dog. E and Q live on immediate floor but not in different flat. Three floors are between C and Q and both live in same flat. D lives two floor below B. B and E lives in same flat. R lives above T but below P in same flat. B doesn’t own a pet whose name start with alphabets after M. Neither C nor B own a Horse.
