After the incident, David continued to have nightmares, he exhibited disturbing behaviour, and all of a sudden, he would have inexplicable bruises and scratches on his body. Perturbed by the events, David’s family contacted a priest to bless the house, but even with that effort, the nightmares continued it seemed like after the blessing, it only got worse. Even in broad daylight, David would exhibit symptoms of possession, and he would have more nightmares. Now at their wits’ end, the family contacted famous demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren for help. When the Warrens arrived, Lorraine immediately noticed that a dark mist was beside David; according to her, it was a sure sign that a malevolent presence was near. To help in their investigation, Debbie Glatzel (David’s sister and Arne’s girlfriend), reported everything they had witnessed, including those times when David would fight an invisible foe.
