As per Section 55, In every Municipality, there shall be an Executive Committee constituted and consisting of -
- In the case of a Municipal Corporation or Municipal Council seven members are elected by the Municipal Corporation or, as the case may be, Municipal Council, including two women members.
- In the case of a Municipal Board, such number of members not exceeding five, as may be determined by the Municipal Board, elected by the Municipal Board; and
