Read the following passage and answer the question given below:
In 1992, the world's largest island, Madagascar, issued a set of stamps featuring six species of cultivated fruit. They were litchi, orange, banana, avocado, peach, and plum. The orange is technically an oval shaped fruit and so is the litchi, which is also a drupe, commonly called a 'litchi nut.' The orange is technically a hesperidium, a kind of berry. The banana is a large, herbaceous plant with a perennial root or rhizome from which the plant is perpetuated by sprouts and suckers. The avocado is a greenish, thick-skinned drupe, similar in size and shape to a large pear. The peach is a common name for a deciduous orchard tree of the rose family and is the fruit of this tree. The plum fruit tree is of a genus of the rose family. About 12 species of the plum are cultivated throughout temperate regions.
