Direction: In the question given below, a passage is given followed by some statements. Read the passage and answer the following question.
India finished at 48th rank in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Neeraj Chopra won the men's javelin throw gold medal. It was India's first-ever Olympic medal in athletics and the realization of a long-standing dream - one which legends like Milkha Singh and PT Usha had also chased but fallen short of by agonisingly narrow margins. Besides the happiness it is quite disappointing that a country like India which is populated with 1.41 billion people won only 10 gold medals. There are several reasons behind this. If an athlete requires something, then it should be provided. It should not be that you ask for something and you get it after two months. These hindrances need to be removed. Sports these days are very expensive, and that is why the system should be supportive and responsive to what an athlete needs. We also need to improve the sports culture in the country. Then we should improve our coaching structure. If we want to be at the top, our system should be top-notch first.
