Read the passage given below and answer the questions that follow.
One night, while Judith was in their bedroom, she noticed that the clock was emitting a faint glow of blue light; when she inspected the device, she was shocked to see that it was unplugged. Then, she started hearing the glass doors sliding open, only to find them locked in place. Worse, Judith related that there were times when she thought Sam was talking to her, asking her “What are you doing?” when Sam wasn’t there. One morning, when Judith woke up, she also realized that her red shoes were missing. Sam backed up the story, saying that he helped Judith look in all the places she commonly kept her things, but to no avail, the red shoes were just gone. They found them right on Thomas’ grave when they left the house.
