Subject: Raising Concern About Reckless Driving.

 

Respected Sir/Ma’am

Through your famous newspaper column, I would like to bring to the attention of the relevant authorities and the general public the issue of reckless driving cases which are increasing day by day.

Careless driving often causes accidents. Most accidents are caused by speed freaks fleeing the scene, leaving others injured and dismayed. They push someone to the ground and run away before someone writes down their car number and model. They no longer have human decency and believe the streets are their private property. Careless drivers overtake from the left, breaking all traffic rules. They don't understand traffic signs. Traffic lights and other things are just a joke to them. Fines for irresponsible driving are too low to have any real impact. It's time to severely punish the perpetrators. A careless driver who drives after hitting someone should spend at least a year in solitary confinement after being arrested by the authorities.
