Directions: Study the information given below carefully and answer the questions that follow.

P is 11 km north of Q, and 4 km north of R. A and B lie in a straight line which crosses the other line PQ when looking from the East. X lies 4 km to the north of A, and 3 km away from P.  P, Q and R lies in straight line. If a person can only walk in straight lines and take turns only at 90o angles, answer the questions below.

If distance between A and B is 6 km and the person walks 3 km to the west of P,  how far is he from B, given that P is further to the west than X?
