Direction: Read the following information carefully and answer the question given below.
A bank has decided to waive the loans of farmers whose accounts have gone in NPA due to unavoidable circumstances or acts of God.
The criteria for the waiver application are as follows-
1. The farmer should have at least 10 acres of land.
2. The loan amount should be between 10 and 95 crore rupees.
3. The interest rate agreed upon should be less than 9.5%.
A farmer who does not comply with the above rules can also apply if he satisfies either of the following -
a. S/he or any of their family members is or had been a government servant.
b. The farmer has over 100 acres of land.
Raju is a farmer whose account has gone in NPA for two years. He had taken a loan of 75 crore rupees at an 11.2% interest rate. He has been an engineer in a private company for 10 years before settling down in his hometown where he had inherited 250 acres of fertile land. Is Raju eligible to apply for the waiver?
