Comprehension Passage

Read the given paragraph and answer the following questions.

Lord Mahavira, born as Vardhamana Mahavir in Kundalpur (Nalanda, Bihar), was the twenty-fourth and final Jain Tirthankara. Leaving home at 30 in search of spiritual awakening, he underwent twelve and a half years of intense meditation and penance, achieving omniscience on the river bank of Rijjupalika near Jrimbhikagrama. Post-enlightenment, he was called Nirgrantha or Jina, signifying a conqueror of senses, and began preaching his knowledge. Jainism's ultimate goal is Nirvana or Moksha, attainable through three jewels and five vows. The term "Jain" derives from "Jina." Notably, the Rig Veda references two Tirthankaras: Rishabha, Jainism's founder and first Tirthankara, and Arishtanemi.
