Read the passage given below and answer the questions that follow.

Once a man walking in the forest came across a tiger in a hunter's cage. The animal pleaded with him to set it free. The man was afraid the tiger would eat him, but it promised not to. But once it was free, it pounced on the man. The man asked for mercy and the tiger gave an assurance that he would eat him as per advice of the first three things the man sought advice from. First, he asked a tree which refused to help him because its branches were always cut for firewood. Then he asked a buffalo. But it angrily said it gives milk but is forced to draw a cart. Then came the wise jackal and the man explained the situation. The jacal confused the tiger as to who was in the cage. The angry beast got into the cage and then the jackal shut the door. It earned gratitude and food forever from the man.
