"Hey, how’s it going?" he asks gently, pulling up a chair beside me.

I sigh, the words spilling out. "It's overwhelming. I want to do well, but there's so much to cover."

Dad nods, his presence reassuring. "You've been at this for hours. Remember, taking breaks is key. You can't do your best if you're exhausted."

His words make sense, yet it's hard to let go of the pressure. "Maybe you're right," I admit, the idea of a break sounding surprisingly appealing.

Dad smiles, his confidence soothing my doubts. "A little break could clear your head. I’m here to help, okay? We can tackle this together."
