Comprehension Passage

Direction: Read the given passage and answer the following questions.

Work and energy are fundamental concepts in physics that describe how forces cause changes in the state of an object. Work is defined as the process of a force causing displacement of an object. Mathematically, work is the product of the force applied to an object and the distance over which that force is applied, provided the force and displacement are in the same direction. Energy, on the other hand, is the capacity to do work. It exists in various forms, including kinetic energy, which is the energy of motion, and potential energy, which is the stored energy of position. The principle of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only converted from one form to another.

A force acting on a 20 kg mass changes its velocity from 5m/s to 2m/s. Calculate the work done by the force.
