Comprehension Passage
Directions: Read the following paragraph and answer the questions below.
"Waves, in the field of physics, are disturbances that transport energy from one place to another without transporting matter. They can be categorized into two main types: mechanical and electromagnetic. Mechanical waves, like water waves or sound waves, need a medium through which to travel and are created by a disturbance in the medium. On the other hand, electromagnetic waves such as light waves can travel through the vacuum of space, and they are generated by vibrating electric charges. The study of waves helps us understand various natural phenomena and also forms the basis for technology like radios, TVs, and cell phones."
