Read the given passage and answer the following questions -
I'm in the cramped backseat of our family car, knee-deep in snack wrappers and with a map that's been folded and refolded too many times. We're headed to the Grand Canyon, a trip we've talked about for years but only just embarked on. The scenery changes gradually from urban sprawl to open road, the buildings shrinking away until all that's left is the vast expanse of the desert stretching out on either side of us.
My sibling is in the driver's seat, determined to make good time, while Mom navigates, her voice calm and steady over the sound of the engine and the occasional blare of the radio. We argue over music choices, laugh over silly inside jokes, and share stories we've all heard a dozen times before—but they somehow feel new in the context of this adventure.
The journey hasn't been perfect. There were wrong turns, a flat tire, and moments when tensions ran high. Yet, as the sun begins to set, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink that I never seem to notice back home, there's nowhere else I'd rather be. This trip, with its cramped conditions, endless roads, and the promise of awe-inspiring views on the horizon, is about more than just reaching a destination; it's about the unexpected moments that happen along the way, binding us together and creating memories that'll last long after we return home.
