In a broader sense of the usage, culture is growing of a plant or garden, not the eradication of roots. The anthropologists opine that it is the way of life of a particular people living together in one place. It is made visible in their arts, social system, habits and customs and religion. Overall, it is of customs, institutions, manners, standards, tastes, morals and beliefs. Families play a major role in transmitting than by any academic institutions. Therefore, when family bond fails to play its part, culture too deteriorates. It is believed that the societal ills can be bettered by a system of instruction. On the contrary, universal education -by lowering standards, morals and tastes to a common denominator, inter alia, -tends to break down existing checks and balances. Education should be the drawing forth of potential values, as Einstein rightly said: The true purpose of education is to train the mind to think and for that purpose it is priceless. Come what may, culture can’t be built without active participation of families and moral instructions.
