A recent "Time" and "Motion" study that the corporation did reveal that, on average, one worker could install 10 air conditioners in a day. The targeted volume of the company in a day is assembling of 1,000 units of air-conditioners. The company is paying attractive allowances to prevent workforce turnover and absenteeism. The employees are all content. Even then the assembling of air-conditioners every day is 800 units only. To figure out the explanation, the corporation compared actual performance of each worker and discovered through CCTV that some of the staff were busy in gossiping.
