When learners come to school for the first time they come with their mother tongue. How can a teacher use the mother tongue of learners?

I. Teachers should allow children to use any language they wish and later to speak in the common language.

II. Teachers should use only English and should not allow learners to use their mother tongue.

III. Teacher should begin with the common language of the class and let learners use their language.
