All these things are there to make our life extraordinary and comfortable before our time runs out. While doing so, one may confront difficulties. It is up to him if he shapes it as a stumbling stone or a steppingstone. Whether you’re rich or poor everyone is given the right tools and we must learn to use them well. The transience of life, death, and opportunity are the major themes of the poem. The seemingly simple poem contains a deep lesson that humans are sent into this universe with special abilities and talents. He compares their unique and different talents with a bag of tools, having everything they need to lead a successful life. However, it is up to us how we utilize our abilities to make our talents useful to the world. Therefore, one should take every possible opportunity to build eternity before death.
