Direction: Read the following passage and answer the question given below:

Sir Isaac Newton, born in 1642, in Lancashire, a small village in England, was a clever child. He built the water clock and an instrument to find out time with the help of shadows. Little Newton was also interested in painting, collecting flowers and plants. In 1665, he graduated from Trinity College. His contributions are the following: Differential and integral Calculus and Binomial Theorem. Newton also proposed the three laws of motion, i.e. an object moves only when force is applied; every action has an equal and opposite reaction; and every particle in the universe is attracted by all other particles. Newton devoted his life to science. "Principia Mathematica" and ‘Optics’ are the famous books of Newton. He passed away in 1727 at the age of 85.
