Comprehension Passage

Read the following passage and answer the questions-

MORELL: My dear: I have been thinking that perhaps we have hardly made enough allowance for this boy. We have been laughing at him; but after all, the difference between him and us is only the difference of a few years.

CANDIDA [surprised, but quite interested]: Oh! have you found that out?

MORELL [a little annoyed]: I have found out nothing; I have only, as I said, been thinking; and that is what I think. Am I wrong?

CANDIDA [affectionately]: No, dear: you are always right. [She takes his face in her hands as if he were a child, and kisses him].

MORELL [much pleased]: That is nice. That is my own Candida.

EUGENE [slinking back into his chair with a twisted smile]: My stomach! Oh, my stomach!

CANDIDA [laughing]: You are a very naughty boy to make fun of us. [She goes back to the table and stands behind Eugene's chair, with her hands on his shoulders, motherly and affectionate, but with a touch of condescension]. James dear: if you only knew how foolish you look when you think you have been particularly clever!

EUGENE [springing up wildly]: Stop. You are wounding my soul. Let me go. [He dashes past her to the door].

CANDIDA [authoritatively]: Stop. Come here, Eugene. [He obeys]. Now listen to me.
