Directions: Study the following information to answer the questions given below:

(i) The ratio of the populations of adult males, adult females and children of 12 years old and above is 10 : 7 : 3 in state ‘A’. Out of which 45% adult males or 9000 are literate, 15% children (12 years old and above) are illiterate while 35% adult females are literate.

(ii) The number of children below 12 years of age is 10% of the number of adult females. 8% of the total population of the State are below poverty line and 75% of these are illiterate.
