Ten seats are arranged in a straight row on which 8 persons (P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W) sit on different seats facing north. Two of the seats are vacant. Each person belong to different cities of India viz. Mysore, Raipur, Faridabad, Srinagar, Varanasi, Jabalpur, Pune, and Jalandhar.

Q sits to the immediate right of P but a vacant seat can be between them. Two persons sit between S and R and both of them does not belongs to Faridabad. There is only one seat to the right of T who does not belong to Faridabad. Vacant seats are not adjacent to each other and also they are not to the right of U. W does not belong to Varanasi and Faridabad. P belongs to Jabalpur. T sits on the seat, which is third to the right of U who does not belong to Varanasi and Pune. There are at least four seats between P and S, who doesn’t sit to the right of T. U sits fifth to the right of V, who sits at the extreme left end. Either U or V belongs to Mysore and none of them belongs to Faridabad. R belongs to Jalandhar. Either T or V belongs to Pune. S belongs to Raipur.
